AFC Rushden & Diamonds would like to put on record their thanks to Mal Swinden for his sterling efforts as Club Photographer since the Club was formed. Mal has advised the club that he feels the time is right to hand over the club photographer role, as he has seen increased commitments in other areas on Matchdays in recent times.
Mal was also the club photographer for the old Rushden & Diamonds FC during the latter years, as part of a 20 season stint as a volunteer for both clubs.
Club Chairman Ralph Burditt commented “Mal’s work has made a huge contribution to AFC R&D over the last 8 years. He is one of the people who bought into the concept of the new Club from the beginning and has donated thousands of hours of his time for the betterment of AFC R&D. As we have built the Club, Mal’s images have added depth and texture to our story and to have an accredited professional photographer recording our progress from day 1 has benefited us to an incalculable extent. I would like to sincerely thank him for everything that he has done for AFC Rushden & Diamonds.”
