Hitchin Town v AFC Rushden & Diamonds – Saturday 5th January

AFC Rushden & Diamonds will play their next game in the EVO-STIK South Premier Division Central when they travel to face Hitchin Town on Saturday (KO 3pm).

The Canaries play at Top Field, Fishponds Road,Hitchin,Hertfordshire,SG5 1NU. Directions for the 31 miles trip from Rushden can be found here.
 
Local Directions provided by the host club for those travelling via the A1 or M1 (rather than the A600 from Bedford) are thus:

By road from the A1

Exit at junction 8 (Stevenage North and Hitchin), onto A602 towards Hitchin. At the Three Moorhens Pub roundabout, take the third exit towards Bedford on the A600. Go straight over the next roundabout and subsequent traffic lights, then turn right at the next roundabout into Fishponds Road. The ground is on the left – entrance is 100 yards along.

By road from the M1

From the M1 take junction 10 (Luton South and Airport), and follow the A505 signposted to Hitchin. When in Hitchin turn left at the first large roundabout, and follow signs for Bedford (A600). Straight ahead at the next set of traffic lights, at the next roundabout turn right into Fishponds Road. Entrance is 100 yards on the left.

 

 
 
Admission Prices at Top Field are amongst the highest in the Division, with adult admission £12 / concessions £8. There is a scheme to provide a £1 discount for tickets bought in advance, but such tickets are non-refundable in the event of a postponement or a problem getting to the game. The full list provided by the host club is thus

Adults: £11 Online in advance (until 20:00 the previous evening), £12.00 Matchday.

Concessions (Over 60s, Students Over 20 with ID, Registered Disabled (Carer Free)): £7 Online in advance, £8.00 Matchday,

Young Persons 13-19: £2 (ID must be shown if requested, otherwise Adult price will be offered)

Children Under 13: FREE (if accompanying an adult)

Unaccompanied Under 13s will not be permitted entry

Over 80s: FREE
