Mike McGrath is AFC Rushden & Diamonds’ recently appointed Club Welfare Officer.
Mike was a season ticket holder at Rushden & Diamonds FC and has supported AFC Rushden & Diamonds since 2011. Mike previously worked in the construction industry, primarily in Project Management.
As Club Welfare Officer Mike will work closely with Club secretaries, Directory of Academy, Club Chairman and the Northamptonshire FA to ensure AFC Rushden & Diamonds’ core values and culture are maintained to the highest standards with regard to the safeguarding of children, the wellbeing of and the inclusion of everyone connected to the Club.
Mike’s role will include supporting the Club Board, Academy and all aspects of Club welfare. He will work independently of any Club hierarchy which will ensure an open and independent view of Club welfare activities.
