All at AFC Rushden & Diamonds are devastated to learn of the passing of Isabella Roberts, mother of Dale, on 28th February 2024. Isabella passed away following a brave battle against cancer, surrounded by her family.
The life of Isabella Roberts will be remembered as one of unwavering faith, bravery and determination. Becoming a friend of the Club whilst Dale was with us, the relationship grew stronger and stronger following his tragic passing in 2010, with Isabella and George regularly travelling from their home in Horden, County Durham to support the Club and attend the Dale Roberts Memorial Cup. We were honoured to have them with us as recently as July last year when they attended the Legends game at Hayden Road.
The thoughts and condolences of all at AFC Rushden & Diamonds go out to George, as well as to all who knew and loved Isabella.
