AFC Rushden & Diamonds can reveal that Jake Newman has left the club in order to join Kempston Rovers.
Diamonds Manager Andy Peaks’ commented “Jake leaves with my blessing, we had a chat about it and it just hasn’t worked out for him at the club. He is a top player who I rate hugely, he has never missed training and his attitude has been first class. He has been a bit unlucky with injuries and maybe at times tried too hard. I wish him all the best at Kempston and I’ll follow his progress with interest.”
