The Board of AFC Rushden & Diamonds are pleased to announce that Jordan Kirk has been co-opted to the position of Director of Grants and Fundraising until the end of the season. Jordan’s co-option will run initially until the AGM later on this year.
On his appointment Jordan said “I am incredibly proud and excited to join the board of AFC Rushden & Diamonds, a Club with such a passionate community. Being part of this journey is both a privilege and a responsibility I take seriously. With my experience in managing projects and a network of contacts across various sectors, I firmly believe we can build a stronger foundation for the future of this Club. Together, we have the opportunity to continue developing AFC Rushden & Diamonds both on and off the pitch, ensuring success for years to come. Up the Diamonds!”
Rob Usher, Club Chair added “I’m delighted to welcome Jordan onto the team and he’s already started having some great impact. His experience in Grants and Fundraising is vast, particularly in engaging with organisations such as Sport England and Football Foundation, which will hold us in good stead in the months and years to come. As a Diamonds fan, his passion for what we want to achieve as a group is a given, and his experience and network of contacts in this space provides invaluable support in an area where we have been desperately lacking as a Board.“
