AFC Rushden & Diamonds will play their next game in the EVO-STIK South Premier Division Central when they travel to face Kettering Town on Tuesday – New Year’s Day (KO 3pm).
The Poppies play at Latimer Park, Polwell Lane,Burton Latimer
NN15 5PS.
The following information has been provided by the host club.
New Year’s Day Segregation
“The Police have requested that our match be segregated on New Year’s Day and having considered the options available we believe that the best approach will be to allocate the ‘BM Pallets’ end to your supporters. Your fans can gain access to this area by entering through the carpark and heading for Turnstile 3 – we will have Police and stewards present to help point them in the right direction. We will also have a 2nd turnstile available, if required, but intend opening the main turnstiles from 1:30pm to allow anyone who wants to enter the ground early to do so. Please note that unfortunately the allocated area does not offering any seating, which we appreciate may cause an issue for some of your supporters. Anyone needing a seat should make themselves known to our Safety Officer (Mark Brace), who if appropriate will arrange for seating in one of the stands – however it should be noted that seating areas will be predominately populated by home fans. The allocated area, within the ground, will have toilets and a refreshment area but there will be no alcohol available. Anyone requiring a disabled toilet will have access to the facilities within the clubhouse, albeit this area will be restricted for home use only, with regards the purchase of drinks. CCTV is in operation in the allocated area and signage is visible, as required.
“We ask for any disabled supporters to request a place in advance.
Car Parking
“Like most grounds we have limited parking and would ask that your supporters follow the parking instructions, given by the match day stewards and park as requested. Once our facilities are full, supporters (home and away) will need to park in the surrounding area, obviously being sympathetic to local residents and parking legislation.”
