AFC Rushden & Diamonds will head to Bedfordshire when they travel to face Leighton Town on Saturday. The Diamonds will be hoping to get back to winning ways and maintain their challenge for a play-off position as we enter the last month of the regular season.

Our Opponents
After formation in 1922, Leighton Town spent time in local leagues as well as a short spell in the Hellenic League. During the latter part of last century they spent time in the Isthmian League, before joining the Southern League in 2006.
Last season they finished in 18th place in Southern League Division One Central.

For directions for the journey of around 30 miles to Bell Close, Lake Street, Leighton Buzzard, Beds LU7 1RX see here. The ground is situated just south of the Town Centre on the A4146 Leighton Buzzard to Hemel Hempstead road. Entrance to car park and ground is opposite Morrisons Supermarket Petrol Station, ½ mile south of Town Centre
Getting there by public transport is possible but Leighton Buzzard station is about a mile from the ground – see traveline.info for door to door directions.
