AFC Rushden & Diamonds hit the road for their final pre-season friendly on Saturday afternoon when they make the trip to play Lutterworth Athletic on Saturday 11/8. This is a double header game, with an Under 18 game between the two clubs at 12:30 and the men’s team game at 3pm. These games form part of the official opening of their new facilities at Hall Park, including the abilities to host teams of a wide age range.

Our Opponents

The Athletic won promotion to the East Midlands Counties League for this season. This is a step 6 league – the same level as the UCL Division 1. Their season started last Saturday, when their first home game attracted a crowd of 121 that saw them give away a two goal lead to slip to a 4-2 home defeat at the hands of Bardon Hill FC.
