Following a poll on AFCDiamonds.com, the winner of the March 2013 Player of the Month award is Jack Wisniewski. He continued to impress in the Diamonds midfield during a month in which the team remained undefeated. He scored in three consecutive games – Thrapston(A), Potton (H) and Bugbrooke (A) at the start of the month, and then added his fourth goal in March in the game against Rothwell Corinthians at the Dog & Duck.
The award is sponsored by P.W. House Jewellers of Rushden, who are continuing a long tradition of sponsoring this award, going back many years with R&DFC. Their business has been part of life in Rushden High Street for the last 60 years.
The award was presented by Diamonds’ Manager Mark Starmer before the game against Bourne Town.
