Following a poll on AFCDiamonds.com, the winner of the March 2017 Player of the Month award is Nabil Shariff. Nabil wins the award for the third time this season, following his fine goalscoring form for the club during the month, scoring six goals, netting in four consecutive games.
Nabil received his award from Club Chairman Ralph Burditt prior to the home game against Newcastle Town.
The award is sponsored by P.W. House Jewellers of Rushden, who are continuing a long tradition of sponsoring this award, going back many years with R&DFC. Their business has been part of life in Rushden High Street for the last 60 years.
