AFC Rushden & Diamonds conclude their first ever league campaign as they take on Olney Town at Kiln Park. As well as being the last Northants Senior Youth League game of the season, it is also the Diamonds last ‘home’ game at Raunds Town’s Kiln Park ground, and we would encourage as many supporters as possible to attend and show their thanks to the Shopmates for their invaluable support this season.
This game was originally scheduled to be played on February 9th but was postponed due to the snow storms that swept the country that week. The two sides met at Olney in December, with the Diamonds running out 3-1 winners. Click HERE for the match report from that game.
Olney have had a difficult season, currently sitting second bottom in the NSYL Western Division table. In contrast, the Diamonds are currently enjoying an 8 game winning run in competitive games, and sit in third place in the league.
