AFC Rushden & Diamonds are pleased to announce that the next Members’ Forum will be held on Wednesday 25th January 2017 at the Windmill Club in Rushden, from 7:30pm.
The main purpose of this forum will be to present the options for AFC R&D’s home from next season to AFC R&D Club Members. The Agenda for the meeting has been published on the Diamonds’ Members On-Line Forum.
Since the Club were given notice to leave the Dog & Duck at the end of the current playing season, AFC R&D representatives have held, and continue to hold, extensive discussions with a number of clubs in the local area. The majority of these discussions have been extremely positive and there are already number of options available as a home for the first team for 2017/18 and beyond. As with all major decisions at AFC R&D, it will be the Members who will make the final decision on where this home will be.
The time line for voting is as follows:
- Options presented to the AFC R&D Members – 25th January 2017
- The voting period will be Wednesday 25th January at 9:30pm to Saturday 4th February at Midnight.
- The result will be announced to Club Members at 9am Monday 6th February. It will then be released publicly via the usual channels at Midday on Monday 6th February 2017.
Once voting is open, votes can be cast online, by post or in person at the Members’ Forum.
Only current AFC R&D Members registered before 7:30pm on Wednesday 25th January 2017 will be eligible to vote. You can apply to become a member in person at the AFC R&D Club Shop on match days, or join online here.
The Windmill Club address is Glassbrook Rd, Rushden NN10 9RP. There is car parking on-site.
Members are also invited to submit any questions they would like to be answered during the Forum to the email address – membership@afcdiamonds.com. There will, of course, also be a Q&A session as part of the meeting where Members can ask questions directly.
