AFC Rushden & Diamonds are delighted to announce that our new stand is now in place. Designed and installed by steel fabrication company Stadium solutions, the stand sits to the left of the Peter Debanke stand at Hayden Road and is a fantastic addition to the ground. This combined with the reconfiguration of the home and away changing rooms, newly installed Officials dressing rooms, press seats and turnstile unit, the Club is now ready for our ground grading inspection.
Originally designed as a 150-seater stand Stadium Solutions have very kindly added seats to the top of the gangways, which means that there are now six further spaces (E31-E36). Louise from Stadium Solutions explains “Once the stand set out, it was clear that there was in fact space for the six extra seats and they were included because to leave them out would not look as aesthetically neat as including them, and our main aim is not only to create a quality but also visually attractive product as it will be in place for a long time to come. I am glad this has helped the club in the way it has”.
This now means we have a further six seats available for sponsorship. If you’ve missed out on the earlier opportunity now is your chance to support our fundraising campaign. The stand was officially opened prior to the game against Royston Town on March 30th.
