AFC Rushden & Diamonds are delighted to announce Sports Concerts and Events Limited and
associated company PKS Training Academy Limited as our new Main Club Sponsors for the
2022/2023 season.
It’s an exciting time for the Club who have enjoyed a great season chasing a Play-Off place, as we look forward to the forthcoming season under newly appointed first team manager Andy
Burgess.
SCE are a security services provider and have been involved with the Club for several seasons. PKS
provide security and event management training services. As part of the deal, the SCE logo will be
emblazoned on the Diamonds’ new home shirts, and the PKS logo on the new away and current third shirts for the upcoming season. New shirts will be available for pre-ordering very soon.
John Gregory, AFC Rushden & Diamonds Commercial Director, said: “We always knew after a pandemic and in today’s economic climate finding a new Main Club Sponsor was going to be a difficult job. The Board could not be more delighted to have secured a new partnership with Sports Concerts and Events Limited and PKS Training Academy Limited. For several seasons, Neil and Jonathan have played a significant role in the Club’s Matchday Safety planning and arrangements. I was delighted back in February, when they indicated an interest in being our Main Sponsors for the coming season with an option for the 2023/24 season. Whilst it has taken time to get over the line it is a great deal and one, I am very proud of.”
The Club would particularly like to thank Sports Concerts and Events Limited CEO Neil Grimmer who
commented: “AFC Rushden and Diamonds were one of our earliest clients and we have built both a strong partnership as well as a special fondness for the team and supporters. SCE is proud to continue its support of the Club and looking forward to what we hope will be a great season.”
Jonathan Hill, Director of PKS Training Academy Limited remarked: “At an exciting time both for us and the Club this was an opportunity that we could not pass up. We look forward to the continued growth of our association with AFC Rushden and Diamonds and to a great season.”
