New Signing – Adam Whybrow

AFC Rushden & Diamonds are pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Adam Whybrow. Seventeen year old Adam is currently on the books at Luton Town, playing in their Youth Development side, and joins as cover for Quincy Shorunmu, who will now be out of action for a number of months following shoulder surgery. He becomes the second Luton Town player to join the first team ranks at AFC R&D, following team-mate Kyle Davison-Gordon, who recently made his debut in the 2-1 Northants Hillier Senior Cup defeat against Wellingborough Town.

Adam will go straight into Mark Starmer’s squad ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup tie away at Dover Athletic.
