AFC Rushden & Diamonds are pleased to announce the signing of 28-year-old full back Bleu McNeil from United Counties League Premier Division South side Newport Pagnell Town. An attacking full back, Bleu is renowned for his long throw-in which supporters will have seen in matches against Hitchin Town, Lutterworth and Leighton recently, during which Bleu appeared as a trialist.
Bleu has bags of experience and counts Kettering Town and Daventry Town amongst his former clubs. He was a regular starter for Newport Pagnell Town last season.
Bleu commented: “I’m really pleased to have the chance to play for a Club like AFC Rushden & Diamonds and can’t wait for the season to get underway. I’m really looking forward to playing in front of the fans. Up the Diamonds!”
