AFC Rushden & Diamonds are pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper David Bevan. The Irish-born 25 year-old keeper began with Aston Villa as a junior, before moving to Walsall where he made four appearances in League One. He then spent a short spell with Daventry Town before becoming the regular keeper at Rugby Town. Last season he was with Boldmere St Michaels at Step 5 level, but is eligible to play for the Diamonds in the FA Vase this season.
