AFC Rushden & Diamonds are pleased to announce the signing of Robbie Maddox. 33-year-old utility player Robbie can play in midfield or defence, and during the two games he has played for the club in the past week he has played at centre-back, left-back and in central midfield. He started his career in the Aston Villa youth system before spending three years at Northampton Town prior to a period with Stevenage Borough. More recently he has had a number of spells at Stamford where he was a fans favourite, as well as spells at other local clubs including Corby Town.
