AFC Rushden & Diamonds are thrilled to announce the signing of 27-year-old midfielder Ryan Inman from Midland Football League Premier Division side Romulus.
Ryan is a well-travelled central midfielder, best suited in a deeper role. After spending time with Birmingham City as a youngster, Ryan moved to America as part of his education and spent 4 years with High Point University. Upon returning to the UK in the summer of 2022, he’s featured for Stratford Town, Daventry Town, Chasetown and the aforementioned Romulus.
The Club had been on the lookout for experience in the middle of the park and Assistant Manager Tom Lorraine is confident that Ryan will give us something different: “Ryan is a player I’ve played with before so I know what’s all about and upon hearing he was available, it made sense to make a move. He is technically very good and has an incredible work rate which will rub off on those around him. He will also bring some much-needed experience to the squad and he’s a great guy as well, good for the changing room. Hopefully he’ll be able to settle in quickly and hit the ground running for us.”
Ryan is available for selection for this weekend’s tie in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division against Anstey Nomads.
