Our Opponents

Northampton Spencer FC was formed as Spencer School Old Boys in 1936. They joined the UCL Division 2 in 1968, moving to Kingsthorpe Mill in 1971. After progress in the UCL they won the UCL Premier title in 1992, but at the end of the 2011-12 season they took voluntary relegation back to UCL Division One. They clinched the UCL Division One title last season so will start the 2015-16 season in the UCL Premier.

The Millers do not appear to have a current club website but their twitter feed is here.

They are currently managed by Ben Stone who was at the helm when the two sides last met. There are several links between the two clubs, with Andy Peaks and Scott Carlin having been on the Millers management team with Joe Merrill, Jake Gillingwater and Brad Harris all including Spencer on their list of former clubs.

They play in Green and White.
