The Northants Senior Youth League Annual General Meeting was held at Olney on Thursday 20th June, and the AFC Rushden & Diamonds representatives at the meeting heard about a number of changes in the League Constitution.
With three of last season’s opponents no longer in the league (Oxford City, Woodford and Daventry Town), there were three new teams accepted into the league. The new teams are Bugbrooke St Michaels, Burton Park Wanderers and Peterborough Sports, with Peterborough Sports joining the East Division and the other two sides joining the Diamonds in the West Division.
Rushden & Higham United will move from the East to the West Division, meaning both divisions will have 10 teams as follows:

The 2013/14 league season will start in the week beginning Monday 19th August 2013.
The draw for the first two rounds of the Northants Senior Youth League Knock-Out Cup were drawn, with the Diamonds getting a bye in the first round, and they will then host either Yaxley or Burton Park Wanderers in the second round. The first round will begin in November, so the Diamonds’ first game in the competition will be later in the year. The full draw is as follows:
