The following document is the Notice and Rules of Election of four members to the Club Board who will take office at the Society AGM on Wednesday, August 11th 2021.
Gemma Hartop has again been appointed as this year’s Election Officer. Gemma lives locally and has a strong background in communication and administration. She is currently the Clerk to the Governors at a local Primary school. Gemma’s contact details can be found on the nomination form and all queries on the election process should be addressed to her in the first instance.
As ever, supporters are reminded that you must be a fully paid adult or concession AFC R&D Member, as at June 30th 2021 to stand for election, nominate another member for the election or vote in the election. The Board is acutely aware that current memberships are due to expire on June 30th 2021 and, therefore, it has been decided that memberships will be extended until July 31st 2021 in order to ensure that everyone who wishes to can stand and/or vote in the election. Any new member joining after June 30th 2021 will not be eligible to stand or vote in the election.
