Notice of Annual General Meeting and Election to the Club Board 2023
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday, 31st August 2023. The main purpose of the meeting is to receive the 2022/23 accounts, the reports of the Club Board and auditor, and the ratification of results of the elections to the Club Board.
The following document is the “Notice and Rules of Election” of up to three new members to the Club Board who will take office at the Society AGM on Thursday, 31st August 2023.
Nikki Roberts has been appointed as this year’s Election Officer. Nikki lives locally and has been a supporter and volunteer for many years, recently helping to administer the lottery and going forward will be busy assisting with club secretarial duties.
Nikki’s contact details can be found on the Nomination Form and all queries on the election process should be addressed to her in the first instance.
Candidates must either be a fully paid adult (16 years+) or concession AFC R&D 2022/23 member* or a new 2023/24 Part Owner as of Wednesday, 26th July 2023 to stand for election, nominate another member for the election or vote in the election. Any new Part Owner joining after 5:00 pm on Wednesday 26th July 2023 will not be eligible to stand, nominate or vote in the election.
*Note: by resolution of the Board earlier this year, 2022/23 memberships were extended until the 2023 AGM.
