Olney Town v AFC Rushden & Diamonds

Saturday 8th September 2012 – 3:00pm

ChromaSport and Trophies United Counties League Division One

Recreation Ground, East St, Olney, Bucks MK46 4DW

After the long trip last weekend the Diamonds make one of their shortest trips outside of Northamptonshire this weekend when they make the short trip down the A509 to face Olney Town in the ChromaSport and Trophies United Counties League Division One on Saturday.

Olney Town’s ground does not have turnstiles, so admission is usually charged via a collection around the ground. Expect to pay the usual UCL Division One prices similar to those charged at the Dog and Duck.

They have informed us that their Club house will be open from 12 midday with a welcoming bar and big screens for catching up on the latest sport. They will have BBQ’s on the go from 1-30pm until after the game and will have Programme sellers (£1-50) and their usual Weekly Meat Raffle (50p a ticket or £2 per strip) with the draw done immediately after the game.

There is a large car park shared with the Rugby club, although the Rugby season starts on the same day with Olney RFC having a local derby game at home to Milton Keynes, but supporters can also take advantage of the car parking facilities in the town.
