AFC Rushden & Diamonds are pleased to announce a sponsorship deal for the 2015/16 season with Overstone Park Golf & Leisure Club. The deal will see Overstone Park host our first team squad during pre-season training, where the players will be put through their paces using the state of the art gym equipment on offer at the venue. The partnership between both clubs will also see Overstone Park hosting our 2015/16 golf day on Sunday October 11th 2015 when supporters will get the chance to play alongside some of the current first team squad.
Manager Andy Peaks said “It is a great deal for the club. The players will benefit from the use of the facilities at Overstone in pre-season, as the gym facility and equipment is first class, and this can only help in our preparation for the coming season. It is also pleasing that our supporters and players have the opportunity to play on what is an outstanding golf course at this year’s Golf Day. Sunday 11th October is in my diary already, and it is far enough away for me to get some much needed practise in!’
