Following a poll on AFCDiamonds.com, the winner of the February 2016 Player of the Month award is Jack Ashton. Jack has “hit the ground running” on returning from a long injury layoff. This is Jack’s fourth such award, and he is the seventh different winner of the award during the 2015/16 season.
The award is sponsored by P.W. House Jewellers of Rushden, who are continuing a long tradition of sponsoring this award, going back many years with R&DFC. Their business has been part of life in Rushden High Street for the last 60 years.
The award was presented by club chairman Ralph Burditt before the game against Uxbridge.
