Following a poll on AFCDiamonds.com, the winner of the Player of the Month award for January 2018 is Luke Fairlamb.
The award is sponsored by P.W. House Jewellers of Rushden, who are continuing a long tradition of sponsoring this award, going back many years with R&DFC. Their business has been part of life in Rushden High Street for the last 65 years, having been Rushden’s Family Jewellers for over 70 years.
Luke had a number of memorable performances during the month, culminating in a first-half performance in the mud at Moneyfields that looked destined to win him the man-of-the-match award before he reacted to the home side provocation and was shown a red card.
