Following a poll on AFCDiamonds.com, the winner of the March 2015 Player of the Month award is Brad Harris. Brad picked up his third such award by polling the record number of votes in a month, and also the highest percentage of the poll that has been recorded. During the month Brad scored several vital goals for the club, including the late equaliser against Wisbech Town and a brace at AFC Kempston Rovers as well as the opening goal in the UCL KO Cup semi-final.
The award is sponsored by P.W. House Jewellers of Rushden, who are continuing a long tradition of sponsoring this award, going back many years with R&DFC. Their business has been part of life in Rushden High Street for the last 60 years.
The award was presented by Diamonds’ Chairman Ralph Burditt prior to the game against Newport Pagnell Town.
