Following a poll on AFCDiamonds.com, the winner of the Player of the Month award for March 2018 is Jack Westbrook.
The award is sponsored by P.W. House Jewellers of Rushden, who are continuing a long tradition of sponsoring this award, going back many years with R&DFC. Their business has been part of life in Rushden High Street for the last 65 years, having been Rushden’s Family Jewellers for over 70 years.
Jack wins the award following a number of fine performances at the heart of the Diamonds midfield during the month. Since joining the club he has been ever-present in a defensive midfield role, helping the club to the best defensive record in the league whilst also linking up with the forward players.
Jack was presented with his award prior to the game against Aylesbury FC, and is pictured with the Diamonds Community U12 Girls Team who were also celebrating recent success as they won the NTFA Cup last Sunday beating Corby Town in the final..
