Following a poll on AFCDiamonds.com, the winner of the November 2014 Player of the Month award is Jack Ashton. In one of the closest votes to date, Jack narrowly took the award ahead of Adam Confue. During the month Jack played a pivotal role at the heart of the Diamonds defence, both at centre back and full back, helping his team to remain unbeaten in the league during the month.
The award is sponsored by P.W. House Jewellers of Rushden, who are continuing a long tradition of sponsoring this award, going back many years with R&DFC. Their business has been part of life in Rushden High Street for the last 60 years.
The award was presented by Diamonds’ Chairman Ralph Burditt after the game against Harrowby United.
