Following a poll on AFCDiamonds.com, the winner of the September 2015 Player of the Month award is Dan Quigley. After joining the club in the close season he became increasingly influential in the Diamonds midfield during the month. He had discovered his goalscoring touch at the end of the previous month, and continued by scoring two goals at Bedfont in the FA Cup.
The award is sponsored by P.W. House Jewellers of Rushden, who are continuing a long tradition of sponsoring this award, going back many years with R&DFC. Their business has been part of life in Rushden High Street for the last 60 years.
The award was presented by Adrian House before the game against Fleet Town.
