Emerging from the MK Dons academy as captain of MK Dons’ youth team, Charlie was rewarded with a professional contract and made appearances for the first team during the 2019/20 season. During this time, he spent time on loan with Welwyn Garden City, Biggleswade Town and Kings Langley. Upon expiry of his contract at the Dons, Charlie joined Banbury United and featured during their Southern League Premier Division Central title-winning season, playing against the Diamonds in Banbury’s 2-0 win at Hayden Road on the opening day of the season.

A mainstay in high-flying AFC Dunstable’s midfield this season, Charlie was one of Chris Nunn’s top targets upon joining the club and the Diamonds’ Manager is understandably thrilled with his latest addition: “I’ve worked with Charlie before and have always kept an eye on his progress. He’s got loads of quality and if it wasn’t for a bad injury sustained whilst at Banbury I’m confident he’d be playing at a higher level. He’s back fit now and has played regularly this season in a good Dunstable side. He’s excited to be here and trained last night, he looks really hungry for the battle. He’s an excellent addition to the Diamonds’ ranks.”

Charlie Pattison is available for selection for Saturday’s Pitching In Southern League Premier Central fixture against Rushall Olympic at Hayden Road.

13/06/23: Charlie committed to Leighton Town for the 2023/24 campaign.
