England12/01/23: AFC Rushden & Diamonds are thrilled to announce the signing of Joel Anker on a one-month loan deal from Sky Bet League One side MK Dons.
Joel is an attacking midfield player with an eye for goal and is no stranger to Hayden Road having played against the Diamonds in last summer’s pre-season friendly against The Dons.
Joel has spent the last month at Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division club Tring Athletic, earning rave reviews for his performance. Joel has amassed 4 goals and 3 Man-of-the-Match awards in his 5 appearances at Step 5.
Manager Chris Nunn commented: “Joel is excelling and scoring goals at Tring and to have the opportunity to sign a player in-form is brilliant. He excites on the ball with his attacking flair and I’m sure the Diamonds fans will love him.”
