21/01/25: AFC Rushden & Diamonds are delighted to announce the signing of Marcel Guzynski on a work experience loan from Sky Bet League Two side Milton Keynes Dons. 17-year-old Marcel is a left sided player, equally capable in attacking or defensive positions. He is a second year scholar at MK Dons and is described as having “an exciting blend of speed, skill and creativity.” He joins the Diamonds for his first taste of senior men’s football. We would like to thank Milton Keynes Dons for trusting us with the development of Marcel and hope that he enjoys a successful stay with the Club. Marcel is available for tonight’s clash with Coventry Sphinx in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division at Hayden Road.

19/03/25: The Club can confirm that Marcel Guzynski has this afternoon been recalled from his loan by MK Dons ahead of a proposed loan move higher up the non-league pyramid. Marcel made 10 appearances in total for the Diamonds, scoring once, the winner at Boldmere St. Michaels earlier this month. We would like to thank Marcel for his time with us and thank MK Dons for trusting us with his development. We’ll be watching his career develop with interest and I’m sure we can all agree he has a bright future in the game. 👏💎
