10/11/23: AFC Rushden & Diamonds are thrilled to announce the signing of 27-year-old midfielder Ryan Inman from Midland Football League Premier Division side Romulus.

Ryan is a well-travelled central midfielder, best suited in a deeper role. After spending time with Birmingham City as a youngster, Ryan moved to America as part of his education and spent 4 years with High Point University. Upon returning to the UK in the summer of 2022, he’s featured for Stratford Town, Daventry Town, Chasetown and the aforementioned Romulus.

The Club had been on the lookout for experience in the middle of the park and Assistant Manager Tom Lorraine is confident that Ryan will give us something different: “Ryan is a player I’ve played with before so I know what’s all about and upon hearing he was available, it made sense to make a move. He is technically very good and has an incredible work rate which will rub off on those around him. He will also bring some much-needed experience to the squad and he’s a great guy as well, good for the changing room. Hopefully he’ll be able to settle in quickly and hit the ground running for us.”

Ryan is available for selection for this weekend’s tie in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division against Anstey Nomads

17/05/24: Ryan was voted Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year at Diamonds’ End of Season Awards evening.

27/05/24: Ryan confirmed that he has left the Club.

18/10/24: AFC Rushden & Diamonds are delighted to advise supporters that this afternoon Ryan Inman signed dual-registration forms with the Club, to get some minutes under his belt. We’re really grateful to all at Harborough Town for helping us push this over the line in time for Ryan to be available for this weekend’s match against Sporting Khalsa at Hayden Road. Ryan needs no introduction, as last season’s captain, he made a huge impression and quickly became a firm fan favourite. We don’t know how long he’ll be here, but enjoy him whilst he is.

22/11/24: Ryan left Harborough Town and signed for Redditch United.
