AFC Rushden & Diamonds manager Mark Starmer gave a squad update prior to the game on Saturday against Burton Park Wanderers at the Dog & Duck.
He reported that he will have all of his squad available for the game with the exception of Ashley Foulger, Alfie Taylor and Elliot Dent, reporting that Alfie and Elliott are progressing in their recovery from their injuries. Alex Deakin is now available for selection, and he, and the other four members of the first team squad that didn’t start at Yaxley, played in the game at Lutterworth on Thursday evening.
Mark also reported that training has gone well this week, following the victory in the FA Vase last weekend at Yaxley of the UCL Premier Division, so the lads are really keen to play their second league game at the Dog & Duck.
