AFC Rushden & Diamonds are pleased to announce further details of their pre-season campaign for the 2019-20 season. As well as the traditional game again their ground-share partners Rushden & Higham United, the Diamonds can announce further pre-season games including those against Leyton Orient, Histon and Daventry Town who each won their respective Divisions in 2018-19.
Further games are against Oxford City and Bugbrooke St Michaels, and the NFA Maunsell Cup game against Northampton Town has been arranged for Tuesday 30th July.

Local rivals Northampton Town play in EFL League Two
Leyton Orient won promotion back to the Football League by winning the National League.
Oxford City play at Non-League Step 2 in the National League South
Daventry Town won the United Counties League with Arron Parkinson in charge, winning promotion to the Southern League, where they will play in Division One Central (Step 4).
Histon FC won the Eastern Counties League with Lance Key at the helm – also winning promotion to Step 4, where they will play in the Isthmian League Division One North.
Bugbrooke St Michaels continue to play in the United Counties League.
