After a season long wait AFC Rushden & Diamonds are delighted to announce the return of saturday football with the first two pre season friendlies for the forthcoming season.
Wellingborough Town (Home) – Saturday 14th July
A double header to launch our new home :
1pm AFC Rushden & Diamonds under 18’s vs Wellingborough Town Under 18’s
3pm AFC Rushden & Diamonds vs Wellingborough Town
Crawley Green (Home) – Tuesday 17th July 7:45pm KO
AFC R&D will play Crawley Green of the Spartan South Midlands League Division One.
St Neots Town (Away) – Saturday 21st July 3pm KO
AFC R&D will travel to take on St Neots who have just secured back to back promotion into the Southern League Premier.
Holwell Sports (Away) – Tuesday 24th July 7:45pm KO
AFC R&D will travel to Leicestershire to take on fellow NLS Step 6 club Holwell Sports from the East Midlands Counties League.
Luton Town U19 (Home) – Friday 3rd August 7:30pm KO
AFC Rushden & Diamonds will take on a Luton Town Under 19 team on Friday 3rd August at the Dog and Duck Stadium, Wellingborough.
Luton will be managed by ex-R&DFC Assistant Manager Paul Driver and is set to feature a couple former R&DFC youth players Jake Woolley and Jerry Nash.
