AFC Rushden & Diamonds backed and supported by the Reverend Rachel Hawkins and St Peter’s Parish Church, Rushden is hosting their annual Christmas Carol Service at Rushden Lakes on Wednesday 18th December 2019 at 7:30pm. The event is free to all and will take place on the Boardwalk, Lakeside, Rushden Lakes or should there be adverse weather near the Cineworld entrance.
The Service will be led by Reverend Rachel Hawkins and Reverend Jordan Allen from St Peter’s Parish Church. We are delighted to announce that taking a significant part in the service will be Reverend Richard Coles, the co-presenter for BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live and BBC One’s The Big Painting Challenge and a regular contributor to panel shows such as QI, Would I Lie To You? and Have I Got News For You. Richard is very well known locally as the Parish Priest of St Mary’s Church, Finedon.
Accompanying Music will be provided by the aptly named Paul Needle’s Diamond Jazz Quartet.
The Carol Service is being held this year and for the first time at Rushden Lakes, the County’s Premier Shopping and Leisure Destination. Visitors can shop, eat, explore and play at 50 to 70 of the UK’s favourite stores and restaurants. With a multiplex Cinema, surrounded by 200 acres of Nene Wetlands, Rushden Lakes offers a truly unique experience.
