Terms and Conditions:

This prize draw is promoted by Darren Bolland on behalf of AFC Rushden & Diamonds Community Benefit Society Ltd. a company registered with the Financial Services Authority number IP031466 whose registered office is at Hayden Road Sports Ground, Hayden Road, Rushden, Northamptonshire NN10 0HX

These Terms and Conditions are the Prize Draw Rules. By entering the prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by these rules.

For the purpose of the Gambling Act 2005, this prize draw is defined as a ‘Society Lottery.’

The profits made by this lottery are to be used for the purposes of AFC Rushden & Diamonds Community Benefit Society Limited – a non-profit organisation

To enter the lottery, you must be a UK resident.

Underage Gambling is an offence, players must be aged 16 (sixteen)years of age or over. We reserve the right to ask for proof of age.

All tickets shall be priced at £1.00

All lottery entry sales are final and no refunds shall be made at any time. All entrants acknowledge that their payment of £1.00 per ticket to enter the lottery does not guarantee that they will win any prize.

The draw for the prizes will be made at an AFC Rushden & Diamonds home game at the end of the season. You do not need to be present at the draw to win the lottery. All results will be published on the web site. www.afcdiamonds.com/prizedraw.

Prizes may require collection by the winners

Full payment for each ticket must be received either in the form of cleared funds before the ticket can be entered into the draw. Only tickets for which full payment has been received either in the form of cleared funds – cash, cheque, direct debit or credit card is eligible to win the prize.

The winners of the lottery prizes will be notified officially with details of how to claim their prize enclosed.

To accept a prize you must be aged 16 years or over, and we reserve the right to ask for proof of age before sending any prizes.

All entrants are solely responsible for providing the AFC Rushden & Diamonds Community Benefit Society Ltd with their accurate and up-to-date contact details and AFC R&D will be in no way liable for any failure or inability to contact any entrant due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details that the entrant has provided. In the event that an entrant changes their contact details, they will be solely responsible for advising AFC R&D of the change.

In the event of an unclaimed prize AFC R&D will hold the prize for a maximum of one month. After this period the prize will be deemed to be forfeit and will be allocated to a future prize draw/club event or sold in the club shop.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to take part in promotional activity and AFC R&D reserves the right to use the name of the winner, their photograph and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any publicity unless prior notification has been received.

If you use your credit card as payment for gambling initiatives please be aware that some credit cards companies view this payment as a cash transaction and may charge you a handling fee and/or a higher rate of interest on your payment. You should check your credit card company terms and conditions for more information.

In the event of the death of a player, their prize draw ticket will still remain valid. No refunds are given to third parties. Should the player number win, the prize will be issued care of the deceased’s estate or, if notified, forwarded to the solicitor or Will executor who is dealing with the estate to include as an estate asset. In the case of releasing prizes to an executor, written proof of executor status will be required.

The AFC R&D shall not be liable to the entrant for any loss or damage suffered or arising from:-
– any delays or failures in the postal service or other delivery methods used by AFC R&D, or the entrant from time to time.
– any delays or failures in any software or other systems used by AFC R&D for the administration of the lottery.
– any delays or failures in the Banking system used by AFC R&D or the entrant.
– any refusal by AFC R&D to accept registration of an individual as an entrant or the cancellation of an entry.
– any failure to enter a chance into the draw.
– any event beyond the reasonable control of AFC R&D

Nothing within these terms and conditions shall create or should be construed as creating any form of contract between any entrant AFC Rushden & Diamonds Community Benefit Society Limited.

Any complaints relating to the lottery should be sent in writing either letter or email to Darren Bolland c/o Lottery Enquiries, AFC Rushden & Diamonds, The Hayden Road Sports Ground, Hayden Road, Rushden, Northamptonshire NN10 0HX– Email membership@afcdiamonds.com. You should give full details of the complaint and supply any supporting documentation. The complaint will be investigated in line with AFC R&D’s complaints procedure. You can obtain a copy of the complaints procedure by writing to Darren Bolland at the above address or by email.

AFC R&D is committed to protecting the entrant’s privacy. Data that is collected from the entrant is used lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Initially the data is used for the purpose of processing Draw chances and informing winners that they have won a prize. AFC R&D may use the data collected for the purposes of offering further chances to win in subsequent raffles, draws, lotteries or for requests for appeal donations. Under the data protection act you have the right to opt out of this data collection.

Any entrant has the right to access the information held about them. To obtain this information, please contact Darren Bolland in writing enclosing the administration fee. AFC R&D reserves the right to charge an administration fee for providing this information in order to recoup expenses incurred (e.g. international postage). AFC R&D is not obliged to comply with a request under The Data Protection Act 1988 unless they are supplied with such information as they may reasonably require in order to satisfy themselves as to the identity of the person making the request and to locate the information which that person seeks.

AFC R&D will not sell, rent or grant access of any personal data to any third party without express prior permission.

In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, the decision of AFC R&D shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

AFC R&D reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. If AFC R&D does this, it will publish the amended rules

AFC R&D reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these rules.

Each entrant should retain a copy of these terms and conditions for their reference.

Players are allowed multiple entries into to the prize draw with no upper limit on the number of entries.

The Laws of Great Britain shall govern the interpretation and/or enforcement of these Terms and Conditions and AFC Rushden & Diamonds Community Benefit Society Limited and all entrants hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
