As AFC Rushden & Diamonds begin our move from the Dog and Duck in Wellingborough to within our home area of Rushden and Irthlingborough we need your help to raise funds for the Club.
As you may be aware the total cost of moving our equipment and achieving the necessary ground grading is £40k. We need funds not only for the moving of our terrace and other equipment but to ensure we meet the ground grading required for our league.
Your support will ensure we continue to thrive as a fan owned football club that benefits the wider community and that our move is a success.
The money from your support will be spent on the following:
- Preparing and Concreting the base for the relocated Peter deBanke terrace
- Moving the Peter deBanke terrace
- Moving the turnstiles
- Moving our containers, including the Club Shop and Dale’s Bar,
- Additional Toilet facilities
- Pitchside and Perimeter Fencing
- Dressing Room refurbishment
- Electrical and General Updates / Maintenance
- Provision of Additional Seating
This is a huge sum, but if each of our fans (based on our average attendances) raises just £90 this will cover the cost entirely!
There’s three main ways you can support our new home campaign:
1. General fundraising
AFCRD are looking for individuals and groups to get involved and raise funds for the Club.
Can you run an event, do a sponsored activity, bake sale, jumble sale etc.?

2. Crowdfunding

3. Commercial fundraising
The publicity and anticipated increased attendance in our new home represents a big commercial opportunity for local businesses.
