Brian Talbot joined RDFC in February 1997, initially as Assistant Coach before being installed as Manager a week later.
Brian’s effect on the squad was immediate as he ensured the Club consolidated in the Vauxhall Conference before embarking on numerous promotion challenges.
Amongst many highlights including famous FA Cup runs, Brian did of course oversee the Club’s promotion to the Football League in 2001 and the Division Three title win in 2003 before departing the Club less than a year later.
Brian Talbot is back for Legends Day to manage the RDFC team and we can’t wait to see him again.
