AFC Rushden & Diamonds are delighted to announce that the Club has agreed a deal for energy supplier Rebel Energy to continue as the Club’s Main Sponsor for the third consecutive season.
The new deal represents a new club record for the Main Club Sponsorship package, eclipsing the previous year’s record, also set by Rebel Energy.
Vice Chairman & Commercial Director Alex Raspin commented: “Rebel Energy’s continued commitment to the Club is something that should delight us all. Securing a Main Club Sponsor at any level of the pyramid is something that can make-or-break your season and getting this over the line allows us to move forward positively into 2024/25. To Rebel’s immense credit, they actually approached us about the renewal, on better terms, and we got the deal tied up nice and early, allowing us to focus our energy (no pun intended!) on other matters. We are incredibly lucky to have their unwavering support and I’d personally like to thank Dan, Mark and Neil at Rebel for the vital role their support has played in ensuring our Club remains for our supporters and community to enjoy.”
Rebel Energy have also continued their sponsorship of Radio Diamonds for the second consecutive season. Volunteer Joseph McCormack and the Team continue to do a tremendous job for us on a matchday, broadcasting home and away to those that can’t make the match.
Last year, the Club and Rebel Energy joined forces in a charity partnership, something which will continue in 2024/25. Rebel Energy donated 10p for every person that walked through the turnstiles at Hayden Road on an AFC Rushden & Diamonds matchday to Oakfield Community, as voted by AFC Rushden & Diamonds supporters on social media. Oakfield Community are a charitable organisation in Northamptonshire who provides residential care and supported living accommodation to adults with physical and learning disabilities, and autism. Almost £1,000 was raised over the course of the season.
Mark Neveu, Chief Commercial Officer of Rebel Energy had this to say: “I am thrilled to announce our continued sponsorship of AFC Rushden & Diamonds. This partnership reflects our commitment to community engagement and promoting sustainable practices that benefits individuals and communities. We look forward to supporting the team and their fans in achieving great success both on and off the pitch.”
As part of the deal, Rebel Energy will award the Club £50 for every AFC Rushden & Diamonds fan that switches their gas and energy tariff to Rebel. Supporters and even those that aren’t involved with the Club can use this link to get a both quote and switch: https://rebelenergy.com/diamonds/quote
