Our newly formed scholarship (U18) team will play their first friendly on Wednesday August 20th v Bedford Town U18s at the Dog & Duck, kick off 7.30pm. All supporters are welcome to come along and support the lads as they embark on a new and exciting adventure for AFC Rushden & Diamonds and Malcolm Arnold Academy.
We are proud to be working in partnership with Malcolm Arnold Academy, sponsored by the David Ross Education Trust, in Northampton to provide quality post-16 education alongside a structured football education programme. This is very exciting for everyone involved in the programme as Malcolm Arnold Academy recorded their best ever A Level and B-Tech results this week. Almost 60% of students recorded a Grade B or above and AFC R&D would like to place on record our congratulations to all the students and staff on these outstanding results which have served to reinforce our belief that MAA is the correct educational setting for our scholars.
