Following a poll on AFCDiamonds.com, the Player of the Month for September 2019 is Ben Acquaye.
The award is sponsored by P.W. House Jewellers of Rushden, who are continuing a long tradition of sponsoring this award, going back many years with R&DFC. Their business has been part of life in Rushden High Street for the last 65 years, having been Rushden’s Family Jewellers for over 70 years.
Ben was presented with his award by prior to a subsequent Diamonds home game against Diamonds fan Jim Playle and his nephew.
Ben wins the award following a number of impressive performances during the month of September.
