Our visitors

They play at Kenilworth Road and currently ply their trade in the EFL Championship. The Hatters finished 6^th in the 2021/22 season in the 24-team division but were beaten 2-1 on aggregate in the play-off semi-finals by Huddersfield Town.

Pre-season so far

Diamonds have played eight pre-season friendlies so far, with an opening draw at Kempston (3-3) being followed by defeats to MK Dons (0-4), Stamford (5-3) and Loughborough Students (1-4). Since then Rushden have been unbeaten, progressing to the next round of the NFA Hillier Senior Cup after defeating Cogenhoe on penalties following a 1-1 draw. Another 1-1 draw was played out in a behind-closed-doors match against a Northampton Town XI, a 3-0 victory followed at Daventry before a further 1-1 draw against National League North side Brackley Town.

Luton have played nine pre-season games so far, winning seven and drawing two (including first-team and development squad matches).
