Afcdiamonds.com caught up with Diamonds’ Manager Andy Peaks, following his side’s maximum points haul over the Bank Holiday, to provide an update on the current first team squad.
On the injury front, Ross Oulton came off with a dead leg during the game against Bedworth United, but should be OK for Saturday’s FA Cup game against AFC Hornchurch. Jake Newman has been training this week, and may be available for Saturday, although he might need an additional week, with Joe Curtis likely to be ready to make his league debut within a further week.
Lewis Leslie will sign dual-registration terms for Daventry Town today, in order to get some minutes of game time, as well as match fitness (he is playing for them this evening), but will be back in our squad for Saturday.
Jon Stevenson is due back from America soon and will give us another attacking dimension. In addition, James Harvey is set to feature at first team level, and will be included in the 17-man squad for the FA Cup tie against AFC Hornchurch.
