AFC Rushden & Diamonds travel north-east to Lincolnshire to face Stamford AFC in their third 2013-14 pre-season friendly on Wednesday evening.
Admission prices are £5 adults and £3 Concessions.
Our Opponents
Stamford AFC was founded at the end of the 19th Century. The Daniels club website is here and their Twitter feed is here. Last season ex-R&DFC player Wayne Hatswell took the club to promotion to the Northern Premier League via the end of season playoffs. Wayne has since moved to a coaching role at Newport County allowing ex-R&DFC youth-team player David Staff to step-up and take the helm. They play in Red.
R&DFC legend Andy Burgess has recently joined the Daniels, and he has tweeted he expects to play in the game on Wednesday in what will be his first appearance for his new club.
