The club have received the following statement from Wellingborough Whitworth FC.
“Wellingborough Whitworth FC, would like to express their apologies to anybody who was upset or disturbed by the actions of one of their players after their third goal in yesterdays match. It was a very stupid thing to do and we will deal with it internally alongside any action taken by the NFA.
Wellingborough Whitworth FC, would also like to make clear, that any comments made from people on any Social Networking sites or Forums about any situations, are only their own personal views and not those of the club. “
